The third cohort of the capacity-building workshop on “Establishing a Joint Collaborative Project Co-Creation Using a Guided Writing Skills Approach” concluded today, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Organized by the Nubian Center for Peace and Democracy in partnership with the African Organization for Rights and Development, at their AFORD HQs, in #Kampala, #Uganda.
The two-day workshop, attended by 20 young women and men, aimed to equip participants with knowledge and skills in the foundational concepts of the logical framework approach for project design, and management.
Participants gained a basic understanding of the logical framework approach, including its key components and how to apply it to project development.
Additionally, they acquired foundational concepts of project cycle management, covering the various stages of a project cycle from inception to closure, emphasizing the importance of effective planning and management.
Participants also gained a grasp of the basics of project budgeting, including developing realistic budgets and identifying funding sources, as well as the essential elements of project monitoring and evaluation, emphasizing the importance of learning from project experiences and preparing effective progress reports.
