As part of our commitment to youth empowerment and development, a capacity-building training workshop for the “Third Batch” commenced today, Monday, November 11, 2024, at the AFORD HQs – Kampala.
The workshop focuses on “Collaborative Project Co-Creation Using a Guided Writing Skills Methodology”.

This two-day workshop aims to equip young participants with the following knowledge and skills:
Day One:
Introductory Concepts of the Project Logical Framework Approach: Participants will gain a foundational understanding of the logical framework approach, including its key components and how to apply it to project development.

Project Cycle Management Concepts: This session will delve into the various stages of the project cycle, from initiation to closure, emphasizing the importance of effective planning and management.
Day Two:
Project Budgeting Basics: Participants will learn about the fundamentals of project budgeting, including developing realistic budgets and identifying funding sources.

Project Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Progressive Reporting: This session will cover the essential elements of project monitoring and evaluation, emphasizing the importance of learning from project experiences and reporting progress effectively.
