First Aid workshop on:
• Basic Life Support.
• Resuscitation guidelines under special circumstances in resuscitation.
• Initial trauma management.
In partnership with the Sudan Doctors Organization, Nubian Center for Peace and Democracy, and the International Human Resuscitation Organization, a first aid workshop was organized today, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the AFORD Organization – Kampala, on the basic life support process, resuscitation guidelines under special circumstances in resuscitation, in addition to how to manage initial trauma.
The workshop was Instructed by Dr. Mahmoud Tageldin Mustafa, Emergency consultant European Resuscitation council (ERC) courses director, instructor, and educator Chair- executive committee, SDPDO, and Dr. Ayman Nasr, Associate professor, Surgery and Trauma, European Resuscitation council (ERC) courses director, instructor, and educator CEO- Human Resuscitation international Organization.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the importance of first aid and provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to deal with medical emergencies.
The workshop was attended by a number of young women and men, most of whom are Sudanese medical students, and the participants interacted very positively with the trainers, who conveyed their experience and expertise in basic life support and resuscitation guidelines in special circumstances in addition to initial trauma management, and practically applied the content of the workshop to the participants.
The lecturers presented effective strategies for managing trauma and acute trauma cases, including how to assess injuries and provide primary care to the injured, and provided a detailed explanation of the process of CPR and other basic medical interventions in emergency situations, focusing on how to deal with resuscitation cases that require specialized medical interventions, such as fainting, accidents, trauma and trauma cases.
The workshop was characterized by a practical application of theoretical information, where participants tried resuscitation procedures, and showed great interaction with the trainers, and asked many questions and inquiries.
Participants benefited from the trainers’ extensive experience in the field of emergency medicine and first aid, which contributed to enhancing their capabilities.
The workshop provided participants with the knowledge and skills needed to deal with medical emergencies, and it is expected that the participants will contribute to spreading this knowledge, improving health awareness, and saving lives in their communities.

بالشراكة مع منظمة أطباء السودان، والمركز النوبي للسلام والديمقراطية، والمنظمة الدولية للإنعاش البشري، تم تنظيم ورشة عمل للإسعافات الأولية اليوم الثلاثاء 17 ديسمبر 2024، في مقر المنظمة الافريقية بكمبالا، حول عملية دعم الحياة الأساسي، وإرشادات الإنعاش في ظل الظروف الخاصة في الإنعاش، بالإضافة إلى كيفية إدارة الصدمات الأولية.
أشرف على ورشة العمل الدكتور محمود تاج الدين مصطفى، استشاري طب الطوارئ، ومدير دورات المجلس الأوروبي للإنعاش (ERC) ومدرب ومعلم، ورئيس اللجنة التنفيذية لمنظمة SDPDO، والدكتور أيمن نصر، أستاذ مشارك في الجراحة والصدمات ومدير دورات المجلس الأوروبي للإنعاش (ERC) ومدرب ومعلم، والرئيس التنفيذي لمنظمة الإنعاش البشري الدولية.
وهدفت ورشة العمل إلى زيادة الوعي بأهمية الإسعافات الأولية وتزويد المشاركين بالمهارات والمعرفة اللازمة للتعامل مع حالات الطوارئ الطبية.
وحضر الورشة عدد من الشابات والشبان معظمهم من طلاب الطب، وتفاعل المشاركون بإيجابية كبيرة مع المدربين الذين نقلوا خبراتهم وتجاربهم في إرشادات دعم الحياة الأساسية والإنعاش في الظروف الخاصة بالإضافة إلى إدارة الإصابات الأولية، وطبقوا محتوى الورشة عملياً على المشاركين.
وقدم المحاضرون استراتيجيات فعالة لإدارة حالات الإصابات والصدمات الحادة، بما في ذلك كيفية تقييم الإصابات وتقديم الرعاية الأولية للمصابين، وقدموا شرحاً مفصلاً لعملية الإنعاش القلبي والرئوي والتدخلات الطبية الأساسية الأخرى في حالات الطوارئ، مع التركيز على كيفية التعامل مع حالات الإنعاش التي تتطلب تدخلات طبية متخصصة، مثل حالات الإغماء والحوادث والصدمات وحالات الإصابات.
وتميزت الورشة بالتطبيق العملي للمعلومات النظرية، حيث جرب المشاركون إجراءات الإنعاش، وأبدوا تفاعلاً كبيراً مع المدربين، وطرحوا العديد من الأسئلة والاستفسارات، واستفادوا من خبرة المدربين الواسعة في مجال طب الطوارئ والإسعافات الأولية.
زودت الورشة المشاركين بالمعرفة والمهارات اللازمة للتعامل مع حالات الطوارئ الطبية، ومن المتوقع أن يساهم المشاركون في نشر هذه المعرفة وتحسين الوعي الصحي وإنقاذ الأرواح في مجتمعاتهم.
